I love it when friends like take the opportunity to celebrate their relationships by getting dressed up to do a photoshoot together! This makes the most sense when children are graduating from elementary, junior high, high school and university! I love grad shoots. They can be styled to look glamorous, fashiony or purely fun! I've also done shoots which featured graduates as athletes playing their favourite sport in their fancy clothes.
Graduation is also a wonderful time to update family photos, especially when out of town relatives come into Calgary to celebrate! It's an incredible day for family photos because everyone will be dressed up!
For friends' graduation photoshoots, I recommend planning a shoot on a separate day from graduation day: often on a week night prior to grad.
This photo day becomes a dress-up day for everyone and the photo session becomes a
private pre-celebration. It also makes the session easier schedule among friends.
The photo session is then low stress and very enjoyable for everyone because there is no rushing the experience. But this is merely a suggestion.
In addition, I photograph grad brunches, events and parties.
The rate is $375/ hour including images with a 2 hour minimum booking.
